Terms of Service
Last updated: October 17, 2026
These terms cover your use of Publish Assistant ("the app"), a Windows desktop application made by the-Automator. By using the app you agree to them.
YouTube
The app uses YouTube API Services. By using it you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your data.
Your content
- You own your videos, titles, descriptions, tags and thumbnails.
- You are responsible for what you upload, including having the rights to it and following YouTube's Community Guidelines.
- AI-generated titles, descriptions, tags and thumbnails are suggestions. Review them before you publish.
Third-party services
The app connects to services you choose, such as AssemblyAI and OpenRouter, using your own API keys. Their own terms and fees apply. We are not responsible for those services.
Acceptable use
Do not use the app to upload content you do not have the rights to, to spam, or to break any law or YouTube policy.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it working, but we do not guarantee it will be error-free or that every upload will succeed.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, the-Automator is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue or channel standing, arising from your use of the app.
Ending use
You can stop using the app at any time and revoke its access from your Google Account permissions page.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
